Chapter Eight

KRYZ

All I saw was red when I bent that corner and saw that fuck nigga in Miracle’s face. If she didn’t stop me, I probably would’ve killed his ass. I got it so bad for Miracle, she just didn’t know I would kill a mufucka bout her. We were on our way to my house in Miami Lakes. I couldn’t wait until I got home, so that I could smoke. The ride to my house was quiet and I welcomed it. I didn’t want to fuck around and say the wrong thing to her.

We pulled up to the gate that surrounded my house, and I punched the code in. Once the gate open, I clicked the remote for the garage door to open. I pulled into the garage next to my Range Rover. I shut the engine off, got out and made my way around to Miracle’s side to help her out. I then reached in the back and got the pizza. We entered the house through the kitchen. I cut the lights on, and I heard Miracle gasp.

“Kryz, this kitchen is gorgeous, I would love to cook in here.”

“Thank you, you’ll be cooking in here every day in the future.” I told her staring at her.

“Oh really?” She had one of her eyebrows raised.

“Yes really, come on let me give you a tour.” I sat the pizza down on the counter and walked towards the living room.

After giving Miracle a lil tour of the house, she wanted to shower before she ate. Once she finished with her shower, we made our way to the den. It was time we had a lil talk, I wanted to let her know how I felt about her. I hope this conversation don’t scare her away.

“Miracle, I don’t want you to think I’m on some stalkerish shit. I’ve been watching and wanting you for a while. I didn’t try to get at you ‘cause I was trying to respect whatever you had going on with fuck boy. I know you’re just gettin’ outta the lil situation, but baby girl I want you and lil mama wit’ me. I’m not gon’ pressure you into anything, just think about it. Whatever you wanna do I’m wit’ it.”

Miracle was sitting on the couch next to me. She turned her body facing me and tucked her feet under her body. She stared at me for about two minutes, then she started nibbling on the corner of her lip. I noticed she does that when she’s nervous. The nibbling stop then came a smile. I was holding my breath, hoping that smile was a good thing.

“I never knew who my parents were. I was dropped off at an orphanage when I was a baby. So, I never had anybody. When Grinch came into my life, I thought I had something. I had no one to teach me anything, so a lot of things I had to learn on my own. That mufucka tried to convince me that him laying hands on me was his way of showing me love.
